A Keansburg man has been sentenced to eight years in New Jersey State Prison for being in possession of large caches of child pornography, authorities said. Jose Gabe Veras, 35, will have to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law and also be subject to Parole Supervision for Life, according to Monmouth County First Assistant Prosecutor Julia Alonso. A 39-year-old man from Asbury Park man, who sexually abused a juvenile over multiple years, was sentenced to 40 years in New Jersey State Prison, authorities said. Julian B. A Monmouth County Jury has returned a guilty verdict against an Asbury Park man who sexually abused a juvenile over the course of a period of multiple years, authorities said. Julian B. Man Sentenced For Sex Assault On Bally's Hotel-Casino Housekeeper In Atlantic City
A 36-year-old man from New York was sentenced to 42 years in New Jersey State Prison for the 2018 aggravated sexual assault of a Bally’s Hotel and Casino housekeeper, authorities said. The sentence follows a two-week trial culminating in the conviction by an Atlantic County jury of Jamel Carlton, of Saugerties, NY, on March 31, 2022. In addition to sexual assault, Carlton was convicted on burglary and criminal restraint charges. A 35-year-old man from Monmouth County has been found guilty of having videos of a naked woman without her permission, authorities said. He also shared child pornography, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Howell Man Faces 10 Years In State Prison On Child Pornography Charge
A national CyberTip has led to the arrest of a 54-year-old man for possession of child pornography, authorities said. William Whesper of Tyrpak Road in Howell was charged with one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child for possession of child pornography, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni said.
