Long Branch HS Employee Suffers Cardiac Arrest Before Vasectomy, Dies At Hospital: Fundraiser A Howell Township man died after going into cardiac arrest right before having a vasectomy, according to a fundraising campaign. A GoFundMe page said Michael Vacchiano went to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch for the procedure on Thursday, June 13. When he was brought into the operating room, he threw up, aspirated, and went into cardiac arrest. Doctors tried life-saving measures but Vacchiano went into cardiac arrest again. NJ Hospital Unveils New Glass Lobby As Part Of $150 Million Renovation Project Newark Beth Israel Medical Center's main lobby has gotten a facelift. The hospital is planning a $150 million facelift that includes a new recently completed 17,000 square-foot glass enclosed main lobby with modern seating areas, community meeting spaces and cafés.  On Tuesday, April 18, the hospital held a flag raising ceremony to celebrate the completion. Jissel Rosario was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in her left leg on April 21.
