Man Shot Near Ewing Waste Management Plant, Police Say
A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot near a waste management plant in Ewing early on Monday, Sept. 26, authorities said. Officers responding to a report of a shooting near 432 Stokes Ave. found the victim with a gunshot wound to the leg just after 6:05 a.m., Ewing Police said in a press release. The address appears on Google Maps as the location of Central Jersey Waste. The man was taken to a nearby hospital and was said to be in stable condition, according to police. Man Shot, Killed In Trenton: Prosecutor
A man was shot and killed in Trenton Tuesday night, authorities confirmed. Police responding to the shooting report on the first block of Camden Street found Albert L. Barnes suffering from several gunshot wounds to the chest around 6 p.m., Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. Barnes, 46, was pronounced dead a short time later, authorities said. Male Critically Wounded In Central Jersey Morning Shooting
One person was left critical following a shooting in Central Jersey Sunday, authorities said. The male was found with a gunshot wound around 10:20 a.m. near Remsen Avenue and Seaman Street in New Brunswick, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition. Paterson Man, 20, Shot Dead On City Street Corner
A gunshot through the head before dawn Saturday took the life of a 20-year-old Paterson man on a city street corner, authorities confirmed. Elijah Wilson of Paterson was found at the corner of East 18th Street and Fulton Place after being shot shortly before 3 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Man Hospitalized After Trenton Shooting
An unidentified man was shot in Trenton, authorities said. A report of shots fired came in about 10 p.m. on Tuesday on the first block of North Hermitage Avenue, reports said. EMS crews took a man to Capital Health Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds. The name of the victim and his condition were not immediately released. Toms River PD: Emotionally Disturbed Man Fired Gunshot
A 49-year-old man was taken into custody on Sunday evening after firing a gunshot in Ocean County, authorities said. Preliminary investigation found an emotionally disturbed resident fired one shot into the air and fled the scene, Toms River police said. No one was hurt during the shooting, which occurred just before 6 p.m. He was subsequently located and taken to Community Medical Center for further evaluation, police said.
