DWI Suspected In Horrific Route 80 Crash In Bergen County An intoxicated driver was believed responsible for a horrific crash predawn crash Monday involving an SUV and a garbage truck on westbound Route 80 in Bergen County. A Land Rover was allegedly going more than 100 miles an hour when it slammed into the Mack MR6 truck at the Huyler Street overpass at mile marker 66.2 in South Hackensack shortly after 4:30 a.m. Feb. 27, responders said. The SUV was demolished, and the garbage truck was knocked through a guard rail, a chain-link fence and clear off the highway, they said. Person Sleeping In Dumpster Rescued From Monmouth Garbage Truck First responders were called to Monmouth County on a report of someone injured in a garbage truck. Someone was sleeping in a Dumpster on Monday afternoon when it was emptied into the back of a garbage truck, according to initial reports.  The incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at Ocean Avenue and Cottage Place in Long Branch, reports said.  The Dumpster victim was giving EMS and police problems, according to an unconfirmed report.  This is a developing story.
