Toms River Woman, 57, Indicted In Shower Rod Beating Death
A 57-year-old woman from Ocean County has been indicted in the beating death of a man using a shower rod, authorities said. Mary Carbone of Toms River was indicted by a grand jury for murder in the death of Frank Stochel in Manchester Township on Feb. 24, 2020. according to the Ocean County prosecutor. An Ocean County woman killed a former Manchester High School custodian she lived with using a shower rod and a tape dispenser, authorities charged. Mary Carbone, 56, was charged with murder in the slaying of 55-year-old Frank Stochel at a home they shared in Manchester, they said. Death Of Former Manchester High School Custodian, 55, Ruled Homicide
A 55-year-old Manchester Township man whose body was found in a local home was killed, authorities said Wednesday. The body of Frank Stochel, who'd been a custodian at Manchester High School, was found on the floor of a 6th Avenue home in the township's Pine Lake Park section by police who responded to a call Monday of an unresponsive victim, they said.
