44-Foot Dead Whale Caught On Cruise Ship's Bow Towed To Jersey Shore: NOAA A dead whale was towed to the Jersey Shore after it was caught on the bow of a cruise ship, officials said. The cruise ship in the Port of Brooklyn, New York, reported the sei whale was caught on the front of the vessel on the morning of Saturday, May 4. Police Trying To Figure Out Who Set Fire To Abandoned Boat On Jersey Shore Police are trying to figure out who is responsible for setting a boat on fire and abandoning it in Ocean County. The wreckage was found at Colliers Mills WMA in Jackson Township, the NJ Division of Wildlife said Monday.
