Hero: Atlantic City Officer Rescues Man Drowning In Bay An Atlantic City police officer rescued a man who was drowning, authorities said. The visitor from Dubai had fallen off a dock, they said. On Tuesday, July 12, at 12:52 p.m., Officers Rebecca Seabrook and John Bell responded to a residence in the first block of North Trenton Avenue for a report of a male in distress and drowning in the bay.  Officers arrived and located the victim, a 43-year-old man, floating and resting against the pilings of a dock in the rear of the residence.  The victim was unresponsive and in and out of consciousness, police said. Burglar Dies After Getting Trapped In NJ Italian Restaurant's Exhaust Fan A burglar died after he became trapped inside of an exhaust fan at a New Jersey Italian restaurant Monday, authorities said. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. at Two Brother's From Italy on W. White Horse Pike, police in Galloway said. There, officers found an unidentified white male who attempted to get inside the restaurant through a rooftop exhaust fan. During the attempt, the male became trapped within the exhaust fan and was unable to free himself. The Atlantic City Fire Department and patrol officers responded to the first block of north Kingston Avenue for a fire at 4:59 p.m. on Sunday. Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire on the second floor of the home. The occupants of the building were able to escape the home. Hanging Investigated At Atlantic City Tower Hotel Authorities are investigating the hanging death of a 59-year-old man at an Atlantic City hotel.  Atlantic City police were called to the Club Wyndham Skyline Tower at 5:28 a.m. on Monday on a report of a man hanging from the balcony of an upper level floor.  Police officers were escorted to a hotel room by security where they found a rope tied around the balcony railing.
