Atlantic City Vet Remembered On D-Day With New WWII Monument: 'We Appreciate Your Service' Atlantic City unveiled a new World War II memorial in honor of a city native who was an Army medic. The city held a dedication ceremony for the Bernie Friedenberg World War II Memorial on Thursday, June 6.
