Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Train On Jersey Shore A pedestrian died after being struck by a New Jersey Transit train, authorities said. At approximately 8:57 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, North Jersey Coast Line train 4334 struck and fatally injured a pedestrian in the vicinity of Roseld Avenue in Deal, a NJ Transit spokesman said. That's between the Allenhurst and Elberon stations.
