Emergency crews were responding to an accident involving a car and a school bus about 1:30 p.m. on Monday, police said.
The accident occurred on Route 33 near Tinton Falls Road in Howell, police said.
Eleven bus passengers were being checked for injuries at the scene, according to early, unconfirmed reports.
