A driver was killed in a fiery crash in Mercer County, authorities confirmed. Officers responding to a report of a car fire in the woods near the Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf on Lower Ferry Road in Ewing found the vehicle fully engulfed just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, Ewing Police said. Authorities are seeking the driver of a dark-colored Ford SUV involved in a crash that killed a 23-year-old Ewing mom. The 2017 to 1029 Ford Escape was last seen turning into the parking lot of 865 Lower Ferry Road -- just after the crash outside of 860 Lower Ferry Road around 11:20 a.m., June 4, Ewing police said. Police ID Ewing Mother OF 2 Killed In Head-On Crash
Authorities have identified the 23-year-old woman who died from injuries she suffered in a head-on crash. Gabriella Nordgren of Ewing was trapped in her car when police responded to the 11:53 a.m. crash near Ashley Avenue, Ewing police said. Nordgren's car crossed into oncoming traffic on Lower Ferry Road and struck an approaching vehicle, police said.
