Matthews, 26, of Willingboro pleaded guilty on Tuesday, June 7 to the murders in two separate incidents, according to Burlington County Acting Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw. Burlington City police were called to a 500 block of Linden Avenue home just after 7 a.m. on reports of a stabbing, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and City of Burlington Police Chief John Fine said. Bruce Gomola Jr., 52, was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
