Bomb Threats At 3 Walmarts In Central Jersey Unfounded There were bomb threats reported at three Walmart stores in Central Jersey, authorities said. The Monday, July 18 threats came at about 3:30 p.m. at 1126 Route 9 in Old Bridge, at the Edison Walmart on Route 27 and at the East Brunswick Walmart on Route 18. Carjacking, High-Speed Chase Ends In Central Jersey Crash (Developing) Suspects wanted in a carjacking and several armed robberies purportedly crashed their car during a high-speed chase, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The carjacking attempt occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3 on Route 18 in East Brunswick, initial reports said.  A high-speed chase ensued along Route 27 in North Brunswick. The chase reached speeds of 80 mph, an unconfirmed report said. It was unclear if the armed robberies are the same ones that occurred earlier Thursday on the Rutgers University campus.
