Stolen Autos Reported In Central Jersey
There were a couple of reports of stolen vehicles In Central Jersey. One came out of Middletown about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and involved a blue 2020 BMW, initial reports said. An unconfirmed report said that it was taken from an Acme lot on Newman Springs Road. The second report of a stolen came out of Red Bank about 2:15 p.m. The Investigation is still ongoing at this time and the vehicle has not yet been recovered, Cpl. Janine Kennedy of the Middletown Police Department said. Red Bank were not immediately available for comment. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES

Suspect In 3 Armed Bank Robberies Arrested In Central Jersey Getaway Pickup: Prosecutor
A 29-year-old man from Colts Neck man has been arrested in connection with a series of bank robberies during the past month, authorities said. Conor Kavanagh, 29, was charged with three counts of first-degree armed robbery, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey said on Monday. Authorities: Middletown Police Officer Filed Fake Accident Report
A Middletown police officer filed a false report after getting into an accident with his police cruiser, authorities said. Thomas E. Foster, 33, of Keyport, has been charged with falsifying records, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said in a statement. Foster was working near a road repair project on Cedar Avenue in Middletown on July 3, 2019, when an accident occurred. Foster filed a report claiming that while he was backing his patrol car out of a parking spot, he “contacted a telephone pole.". Two car thieves dragged a Middletown homeowner while stealing his Range Rover in broad daylight, surveillance video shows. A dark Mercedes Benz backs up to the victim’s Windermere Road driveway in the township’s Lincroft section around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the video posted publicly on Facebook shows. A Jersey Shore postal carrier who'd stolen prescription medications intended for a military veteran tried doing it again -- only this time he swiped a bottle that federal agents had planted at the post office, authorities said. Christopher F.
