Mercer County Jail Inmate Stabbed In Back

Authorities were investigating a reported stabbing at the Mercer County Correctional Institution.

The stabbing occurred before 5 p.m. on Friday at the jail located at 1750 River Road in Lambertville, initial reports said.

An unconfirmed report said that an inmate was stabbed in the back and was suffering from "uncontrollable bleeding."
