Toppled Tree Downs Power In Allendale, Mahwah During NY Rangers Game

MAHWAH, N.J. — Power was knocked out to a large section of Mahwah and Allendale when a toppled tree took down power lines.

The tree came down on Forest Road off Donnybrook Drive in Allendale just after 3:30 p.m. during the first period of the New York Rangers playoff game against the Ottows Senators, bringing neighbors out of their homes for blocks.

Two of them had choice seats.
