Cliffside Park Democrat Is New Jersey's Youngest Lawmaker CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Clinton Calabrese of Cliffside Park on Thursday was sworn into the state Assembly, making him the youngest New Jersey lawmaker at 31 years old. Calabrese has replaced Democrat Marlene Caride, a new Murphy nominee to serve as commissioner of the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance. Clinton is a former member of the borough's Board of Education and will represent New Jersey's 36th legislative district.
