Mindy A. King, 52, Glen Rock Resident
GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Glen Rock resident Mindy A. (Langer) King died Friday, May 6. She was 52.
A pediatric occupational therapist for almost 30 years, King earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from New York University and her undergraduate degree from Boston University.
She loved and rescued many animals, was an avid horticulturist and loved the outdoors.
King is survived by husband, Sean King; son, Liam King; mother, Phyllis (Apple); and brother, Craig Langer.
Cremation was private.

DUMONT, N.J. — Dumont resident Angelina Luciano (Perrone) died Tuesday, May 10. She was 67.
A native of Bagnara Calabra, Italy, Luciano was employed as a sales representative for Syms of Paramus for many years.
Luciano is survived by her children and their spouses, Maria Federico and her husband Frank, Nancy Unger and her husband Brett, Joseph Luciano and his companion Yvonne, Michelle Reilly and her husband Paul; brothers, Joseph and George Perrone; sister, Dominica Dinaro; and grandchildren Marissa, Mirella, Vincenzo Aldo, Shayla, Wade, Maximilian, and Angelina.

YONKERS, N.Y. — Lifelong Yonkers resident Madeline Silvestri died on Wednesday, May 11. She was 95.
She was born Nov. 27, 1920 in Yonkers, to Nicholas and Margaret (Deretta) DePalma.
Silvestri is survived by her daughter, Laura Penzo and her son, Vincent and his wife, Adeline Silvestri; her grandchildren Madeline DeMartino, Donna Adams, Vincent Silvestri and Donald Silvestri; and nine great-grandchildren.
Silvestri was predeceased by her husband, Donald Silvestri; her brothers, Lawrence DePalma, Dominic DePalma, and Vincent DePalma, and her sister, Rose Aurisicchio.

TRUMBULL, Conn. — Longtime Trumbull resident Giannoula K. Karoli died Tuesday, May 10. She was 86.
Born in Flampouro, Florina Greece, Karoli was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, where she was a member of the Philoptochos Society.

A native of Little Rock, Ark., Donaldson was a phlebotomist at Vassar Hospital prior to working as a bookkeeper at the family business Duchess Restaurant Equipment Co. Inc. in Poughkeepsie.

Michael D. Purcell, 57, Longtime Rhinebeck Resident
RHINEBECK, N.Y. — Longtime Rhinebeck resident Michael D. Purcell died Tuesday, May 10. He was 57.
A native of Canada, Purcell attended Rhinebeck Schools and was trained at BOCES for food service.
Upon graduation from Rhinebeck High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he was honorably discharged, returning home to work at Foster's Coach House for many years.
Purcell was an active member of Grace Bible Fellowship and helped build their current location.
