RIDGEFIELD, N.J. – Guadenzia Piccini, a resident of Ridgefield, died Sunday, July 24. She was 91.
She was born on May 19,1925, in Susak, Croatia. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband John; her children, Mary Tarabocchia and Dominick Piccini; her six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Richard D. Christensen, 76, Of Wyckoff
WYCKOFF, N.J. – Richard D. Christensen, a longtime resident of Wyckoff, died Saturday, July 23. He was 76.
He was born in Englewood, N.J., and was a longtime resident of Wyckoff. Before retiring in 1996, he was a business administrator at Aetna Insurance Company in New York. He was a member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church.
He is survived by his wife, Helene E. Christensen; son Richard D. Christensen, Jr., and his wife, Maria; daughter Nancy Spellman; granddaughter Krystal McCormack, and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son-in-law Joseph Spellman.

LODI, N.J. – Kevin P. Miller, a lifelong resident of Lodi, died Friday, July 22. He was 58.
He was born in State Island, N.Y. to William and Marie Miller and was a lifelong resident of Lodi.
Before retiring this year, he was a supervisor for New Jersey Department of Transportation for more than 30 years.

ALLENDALE, N.J. – Joyce Carlson, a resident of Allendale, died Sunday, July 24. She was 89.
She was born in Michigan and lived in Overland Park, Kan., before moving to Allendale in 1968.
She is survived by her sons, David of Allendale and Douglas of Lumberton, N.J.
Her husband, Ture Walter Carlson, died in 2011 and her brother, Hayden, died in 2014.

He was born in Ridgewood and was raised in Mahwah. He resided in Glen Rock for 26 years.

BOLTON LANDING, N.Y. – Constance Teresa Gilmore, a resident of Bolton Landing, N.Y., died Saturday, July 23. She was 66.
She was born in Englewood, N.J. and raised in Fair Lawn. She spent her adult life in New Jersey, Texas, and Connecticut, before retiring to New York.

NORTHVALE, N.J. – Frederick Charles Eichler Jr., a resident of Northvale, died Friday, July 22. He was 86.
He was born on July 7,1930, to Fred and Margaret Eichler.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and belonged to the American Legion Perry Post in Sparkill, N.Y.
He retired from Rahway State Prison where he was a corrections officer for 27 years. He then pursued a contracting business for many years until retiring at the age of 84.

William J. Ulm, 83, Of Dumont
DUMONT, N.J. – William J. Ulm, a resident of Dumont and formerly of Carlstadt, died Friday, July 22. He was 83.
Born Oct.27, 1932, in Hackensack, he was the son of Columbia and Fred Ulm.
He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War, on the destroyer USS Snowden (DE-246). He was a postal worker with the Westwood post office for many years.
He is survived by his wife Anna; children, Carenda Tucker and Linda Ulm; and sister, Beverly Sinou.
