Township police made one arrest on a child-neglect and drug-related warrant and 10 others for failing to appear in court to answer charges that range from theft to contempt.

The objective of the daylong annual event is “to send a message to offenders in Mahwah and throughout the United States that they will be located and arrested and brought to justice no matter where they flee,” Mahwah Police Chief James N. Batelli said Thursday.
