NJ Town BOE Member Threatened Sup't In Trying To Reverse Son's Suspension, Ethics Board Finds A school board trustee in Warren County crossed the line in trying to have her child's bullying suspension revoked, according to a state ethics board. Lisa Moyer, a member of the board of education in Allamuchy Township, violated several sections of the school ethics board, after her child was suspended for harassment, intimidation and bullying in 2022, the School Ethics Commission ruled. The board recommended Moyer be reprimanded for her actions in a ruling released in April. Moyer, however, says she was just trying to defend her son. Teen Twin Killed In Weekend NJ Crash: 'Our Community Is Reeling' A community in New Jersey is mourning the loss of a 17-year-old high school student and twin, who died in a weekend crash. Isabella Todaro, a senior at Hackettstown High School, was identified in a GoFundMe as the victim of the Long Valley crash on Saturday, Oct. 7. The crash happened on Flocktown Road near Nestlingwood Drive, when the vehicle Isabella was riding in struck a utility pole just before 2:30 a.m., police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Swastika Painted On Soccer Field At Warren County High School, Police Say A swastika was painted on the soccer field at a high school in Warren County, police said on Thursday, Oct. 6. The symbol was found painted onto the girls’ soccer field at Hackettstown High School at 599 Warren St. on Saturday, Oct. 1, police said in a press release. A person of interest has been identified by the Hackettstown Detective Bureau. The investigation is ongoing, police said. No further details were released.
