LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Josephine A. Mazza, a resident of Lyndhurst, died Tuesday, April 19. She was 88.
She was raised in Jersey City before moving to Lyndhurst. Although she lived in Bergen County for 60 years, she read the Jersey Journal every day since 1956.
She is survived by her children, Neil F. Mazza, a resident of Hunterdon Development Center in Clinton and Rocco A. Mazza of Lyndhurst.; her siblings Loretta Cavallo, Theresa Cavallo, both of Jersey City, Antoinette Diana, John Cavallo and Ida Bilotto; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Neil A. Mazza; and her sister Philomena Carrolli.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
