Another round of snow is headed to parts of North and Central Jersey, along with eastern Pennsylvania Monday evening, March 6, making for slippery travel conditions Tuesday morning. Monday will be mostly sunny with a high around 50. Rain is expected to begin around 10 p.m. and change to snow for North and Central Jersey, along with the Poconos and greater Philadelphia, overnight. Pre-Christmas Storm: These Areas Expected To See Accumulating Snow, Poor Travel Conditions
A storm system packed with a wide swath of snow, rain, and strong winds is expected to cause poor travel conditions and bring accumulating snowfall to some spots in the days leading up to Christmas. The system is due to arrive on Thursday, Dec. 22, the National Weather Service said. Police Free Motorist In Utility Pole Crash That Closed Route 17
Upper Saddle River police officers broke the rear window to free a driver whose SUV landed on its side after hitting a utility pole on Route 17 during the heavy overnight rainstorm, authorities said. The 49-year-old Paterson motorist was headed south when he lost control of his Ford Explorer, which went off the roadway and hit the pole outside Jack Daniels Audi shortly after 1 a.m., Police Capt.
