Man Arrested For Possessing Handgun Stolen From Florida: Bayonne PD
A 32-year-old Leesburg man was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 28, after police say he possessed a stolen handgun.
At 4:39 a.m., police observed a Saturn commit numerous traffic violations at 28th Street and Prospect Avenue, officers said. After initiating a traffic stop, police found Dontae Black, the passenger, to be in possession of a a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun loaded with seven bullets, four of which were hollow-points, officers said. Two Arrested For Stealing Car, Stealing Handgun: Linden PD
Two Newark residents were arrested in Linden on Thursday, July 6 for driving a stolen car and possessing a stolen handgun, police said.
At 8 p.m., officers were alerted to a report of a stolen vehicle traveling south on Route 1, Captain Christopher Guenther of the Linden Police said. The car suddenly came to a stop at Avenue C and Tijohn Cato, 30, and Samiya Medina, 34 were arrested and taken into custody, Guenther said.
