Omire Rios-Williams, 19, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses in the May 3 incident, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Garcia was shot on Princeton Avenue and Brown Place just before 11 p.m., and pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center at 11:24 p.m., Suarez said. 3rd Accused Arsonist Arrested In Jersey City Bodega Fire A 29-year-old man was the third person to be charged with torching a Jersey City bodega in 2019, authorities announced Tuesday. Jeremiah Lane surrendered at the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Monday, and was charged in connection with the June 9, 2019 blaze at Tribu Minimart on Princeton Avenue, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The shop's two owners, Amado Gonzalez-Abreu, 38, and Francisca Duran-Tejada, age 47, were charged last October, Suarez said. Man Found Dead In Jersey City Drainage Ditch Man Found Dead In Jersey City Drainage Ditch
Man Found Dead In Jersey City Drainage Ditch Police are investigating after a man was found dead under a bridge in Jersey City Monday night, a spokeswoman said.  The 44-year-old man, whose name was not released, was found unresponsive in a drainage ditch just east of Princeton Avenue around 7 p.m.  The man's death does not appear to be suspicious, the spokeswoman said.
