Road Rage Incident Hospitalizes Elderly Jersey City Man, Bayonne Police Say An 81-year-old man was hospitalized after being beaten in what police are calling a road rage incident Tuesday in Bayonne. The Jersey City man was stopped at a traffic light near Hook Road and Route 440 when he became involved in an argument with the driver behind him around 10:50 a.m., Bayonne police Capt. The woman was at a Plainfield bar when she met two men, who agreed to drive her to Irvington around 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 26, North Plainfield Police Lt. Edward Sinker said. Newark HS Basketball Coach Attacked By JV Players After Livingston Game The Shabazz High School's junior varsity basketball team coach was brutally beaten by his own players after an away game in Livingston Tuesday in Newark. Video footage published by RLS Media shows a person on the ground outside of the Newark high school being punched and kicked by at least three team members in a nearly 25-second attack. Livingston officials said Shabazz players were engaged in "some physical confrontation among themselves" during the game.
