Former Roseland Police Chief Dies At 91: 'Loss Will Be Felt Throughout Community'
Walter Critchett, who served the Roseland community as a police officer and later police chief for 40 years, died at the age of 91, the borough announced. After serving in the Navy, Critchett joined the Roseland Police Department in 1956.
