Woman, 70, Hospitalized With Serious Injuries After Being Struck By Car In Morristown A 70-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a car while crossing a street in Morristown Saturday night, authorities said. The Lincoln Park woman was crossing Elm Street in Morristown when she was hit by a car heading north around 10 p.m., police Capt. Stuart Greer said in a release. The woman, who was unresponsive, was taken to Morristown Medical Center, where she remains in serious but stable condition, Greer said. The men exited a grey van and stole three barrels of cooking oil from the back of South & Pine Restaurant on South Street in Morristown around 2:15 p.m., Police Capt. Stuart Greer said. The employees initially thought that the men were contractors and did not contact anyone in the van, Greer said. Six Passaic County Residents Accused Of Laundering $27 Million For International Drug Cartels Four Paterson residents and two from Passaic were caught laundering more than $27 million for Central and South American drug cartels operating in New Jersey and New York, federal authorities announced Wednesday.
