Nutley Police Officer OK After Fleeing Newark Driver Hits Him: Police A Nutley police officer suffered minor injuries to his arm when a Newark motorist struck him with her vehicle July 6, the department said in a statement.  Police approached a suspicious vehicle driven by Shanoa Glover, 30, on Franklin Avenue. Glover hit the officer when she fled from the scene, according to police.  Police briefly chased her but broke off the pursuit.
