The driver for City-Wide Towing of Hawthorne said he was headed west on Broadway just past the Route 4/208 split when a car cut him off, pushing his rig into the back of garbage truck owned by Interstate Waste Services of Teaneck shortly after 10:15 a.m. The tow truck got hooked onto the garbage truck’s rear push bar and was turned sideways before it slammed into the median, sending concrete flying, Sgt. Belleville Woman Struck, Killed By Dump Truck A 44-year-old Belleville woman was struck and killed by a dump truck Wednesday afternoon. Ximena Aguilar was struck by an Interstate Waste Services truck near Washington Avenue and Little Street, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Belleville Police Chief Mark Minichini said. The truck driver remained at the scene and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene around 12:55 p.m., authorities said.
