Two Teens Shot In Newark: Police Two teenagers were shot in Newark on Thursday, Oct. 12, authorities said. At 8:40 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of Goldsmith Avenue and found a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The victims were transported to University Hospital and are in stable condition, Fragé said. The incident remains under investigation, Fragé said.

Newark Police Seek IDs For Men Who Shot Victim After Robbing Him Police in Newark are turning to the public for help identifying a trio of men who robbed a victim at gunpoint then shot him. The incident occurred on the 300 block of Goldsmith Avenue around 3:55 a.m. Aug. 22, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.
