Two Teens Shot In Newark: Police Two teenagers were shot in Newark on Thursday, Oct. 12, authorities said. At 8:40 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of Goldsmith Avenue and found a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The victims were transported to University Hospital and are in stable condition, Fragé said. The incident remains under investigation, Fragé said.
