Student Slashed Outside Jersey City High School A student was slashed outside Ferris High School in Jersey City on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 26, Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione, a spokesman for the mayor's office said.  The student was slashed in the left hand and was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Wallace-Scalcione said. Police are continuing to investigate.
