400+ Health Products Recalled From Family Dollar Over Improper Storage More than 400 over-the-counter health products such as toothpaste, deodorant and pain relievers have been recalled from Family Dollar stores over improper storage, the FDA announced. The products were stored and inadvertently shipped to certain stores on or around May 1 through June 10, and stored outside of labeled temperature requirements, federal officials said. Authorities: Broken Bottle Was Newark Man's Weapon Of Choice In Family Dollar Robbery A Newark man who was armed with broken bottle while demanding cash from a Family Dollar was arrested Friday, said authorities who charged him. Francisco Maldonado-Jones, 31, walked into the 7th Avenue store around demanded the money, then fled on around 7:40 p.m. July 8, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said in a release. Maldonado-Jones was identified via a follow-up investigation and arrested Friday morning, authorities said. He was charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
