Death Near Morris County Construction Site Investigated As Suicide A death near a Morris County construction site was being investigated as a suicide, authorities said. A man was found unresponsive and bleeding from the head at 289 Beaverbrook Road in Lincoln Park around 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The accident was being investigated as a suicide, Lincoln Park Police Lt. Jersey City Contractor, 44, Dies After Falling 9 Stories Down Elevator Shaft A 44-year-old contractor fell nine stories to his death at a Jersey City construction site Wednesday morning. Jersey City’s police and fire departments responded to 136 Summit Ave., where the man was found unconscious around 7:45 a.m., Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.  OSHA was responding. The man's identity was not released.
