Rat Infestation Shuts AMC Newport Centre Theater Now playing at the AMC Newport Centre: "Ratatouille." "Willard." "The Secret of the Nimh." The Jersey City movie theatre was ordered closed by a city inspector on Wednesday, Sept. 27 due to a rat infestation, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said.   The theater owner was cited for the presence of rodents and multiple outer openings allowing a rodents entry source, Wallace-Scalfione said. The theater will owe a $100 inspection fee once all of the violations are abated and must be exterminated once per week going forward, Wallace-Scalfione said. …
