Teen Carjacker Pistol-Whips Driver In Englewood, Caught Returning To Vehicle A juvenile pistol-whipped a car service driver, took his keys and was about to make off with his vehicle when Englewood police grabbed him. The 17-year-old robber tried carjacking the driver at gunpoint on 3rd Street but ended up taking the keys and running, Lt. Fred Pulice said. Police Probe Shooting Near Englewood Park Englewood police continued seeking witnesses or anyone else who could help identify whoever fired nearly a dozen gunshots near a city park last weekend. The 11 shots were heard on dead-ended 3rd Street behind Mackay Park shortly before midnight Sunday, April 10, Lt. Fred Pulice said.
