John Squillante Jr. was carrying an open bottle of bourbon when police arrived shortly before midnight on a report of a gang of males damaging cars, police said. The person who called was able to identify Squillante as the person breaking off the mirrors, police also said.
Police retraced Squillante’s steps and found eight vehicles with damaged mirrors. The total cost of the damage was an estimated $4,000, police said.
Squillante was issued summonses for eight counts of criminal mischief.
