A Jersey City police standoff with a man in a vehicle who claimed to have a weapon ended peacefully around 3:30 p.m.
It was not clear if the man had a weapon.
The incident began around 10:55 a.m. at the 7-Eleven near JFK Boulevard and Clinton Avenue, according to initial reports.
The suspect was reportedly in a vehicle and wanted out of North Bergen, reports say.
