Morris County Man, 66, Stabbed While Reading Book At Port Authority Bus Terminal: Police
A 66-year-old Morris County man was stabbed at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan on Monday, April 22, authorities said.
Michael McCloskey, 42, of California, was taken into custody by Port Authority police officers who heard the victim's screams at the north subway mezzanine level of the terminal just before 5:45 a.m., Port Authority Police of New York and New Jersey, and its PBA said.

One Dead, Three Wounded In Pair Of Paterson Shootings
One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting at a bridge over the Passaic River, authorities confirmed.
Responding officers found both city residents show in the neck and legs near the North Bridge Street bridge shortly before midnight Wednesday, March 13, they said.
Both were taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, where one of them, 43, was pronounced dead, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi said.

A moving taxi overturned and crashed on Route 3 in Clifton when a passenger from the Jersey Shore stabbed and slashed the driver during a robbery attempt, authorities said.
