Elderly Man With Severe Burns Dies After Being Found On NJ Town Sidewalk: Sources
An 82-year-old man died after neighbors found him on the sidewalk with severe burns in a North Jersey town on Friday night, Oct. 13, according to Daily Voice sources and authorities. Shigeru Takeuchi, of Union, was found unresponsive around 9:05 p.m. on the 100 block of E. Willow Street in Millburn, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. No foul play was suspected in the death of a homeless man found in back of a Dunkin' Donuts in Hackensack, authorities said. The body was found behind a dumpster in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Passaic Street off Railroad Avenue shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday, responders said. The Hispanic man, believed to be in his 30s, apparently had been camped out behind the trash bin, they said. Mother, Daughter Found Dead In Home Off Route 17 Identified
A 56-year-old woman and her 31-year-old daughter were found dead Monday, June 20, in the elder woman's East Rutherford home down the block from the borough police station. A man said to have been the former spouse of the property owner apparently found the bodies of Nancy Marie Jocks and her daughter, Alexis O'Boyle of Woodland Park, in the rented unit off southbound Route 17 just past Route 120, barely two miles from MetLife Stadium. The body of a 33-year-old New Jersey man was found in New Orleans more than two months after his disappearance, The Lakewood Scoop reports. Michael Gelfand, of Jackson, was found dead in NoLa on Monday, March 21, the outlet said citing sources. His body was being flown to New Jersey for burial. UPDATE: Two young children were being cared for after authorities found their parents dead in their Rochelle Park home on Saturday. The bodies of Mandy Staples, 35, and her ex-husband Marcos Gagnon, 43, who'd been living in Atlantic County, were found on the second floor of their Schlosser Drive home around 11 a.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
