A routine early morning traffic stop in Bergen County over the weekend led to the recovery of a loaded handgun and an illegal high-capacity magazine, authorities said.
On Sunday, Feb. 15, at approximately 2:24 a.m., North Arlington police officers conducting radar enforcement on Belleville Turnpike observed a white 2016 Dodge Challenger traveling eastbound at 56 mph in a posted 30 mph zone, North Arlington Police Lt. A Pennsylvania man wanted on more than a dozen child-sex-assault charges and a New Jersey man wanted on felony drug charges were arrested together after a traffic stop in New York, the sheriff’s office announced on Thursday, Nov. 13.

A Teaneck driver was arrested after officers found a large quantity of marijuana, THC products, and tens of thousands of dollars in cash during a traffic stop in New Milford, authorities said.
The incident happened around 7:41 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, when Officer Shane Churaman and Officer Brian Johnson pulled over a vehicle on Boulevard at Vomel Drive, according to New Milfor Police Capt. Kevin Van Saders.

A child who vanished from Georgia more than a year ago has been safely found in Connecticut after a traffic stop unraveled a disturbing case of custody interference, authorities said.
