Car Thief, Fraudster Extradited To PA From NJ Jail, Cops Say
An Easton woman is in the Northampton County jail for a car theft early this year, say Forks Township police. Authorities said they were called about a stolen Hyundai Santa Fe at 5335 Kesslersville Road on Feb. 29. The victim, a New Jersey resident, also reported fraudulent transactions on a debit card that was left in the vehicle. Kidnappers Who Demanded $680,000 Ransom For Fort Lee Man Get Up To 18 Years Without Release
𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: Four men who kidnapped a Fort Lee man from his home and held him for a $680,000 ransom must serve from 12 to 18 years in federal prison before they'll be eligible for release. A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with an overnight dirt bike burglary in Morris County totaling more than $15,000, authorities said. Denzel Johnson, 28, was identified as the suspect in a burglary of a secured structure behind a Florham Park home that occurred during the overnight hours in late April, police said in a Facebook post. A $3,000 reward is being offered by the NJ Transit Police Department for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect wanted in connection with an unprovoked assault outside Newark Penn Station. Surveillance footage shows a man being punched in the face by the younger suspect as he approached the Raymond Plaza East exit of Newark Penn Station around 7:20 p.m. March 6, officials said.
