NJ McDonald's Customer Burned By Scalding Tea, Lawsuit Says A woman is suing a McDonald's in Morris County claiming she suffered severe burns from their hot tea in January 2022. Stacey Crisman, a Kenvil resident, says in the suit that an employee at the McDonald's at 249 Route 10 East in Succasunna did not properly close the lid on a cup of tea, causing scalding hot tea to spill all over Crisman, according to the lawsuit.  The effects  of the have been severe on Crisman, who said she "has lost the enjoyment of life," according to the lawsuit. 27 NJ Boston Market Stores Issued Stop-Work Orders By Labor Department Boston Market stores across New Jersey owe its workers thousands of dollars in back wages, and the state's labor department is taking action. The NJDOL issued 27 stop-work orders to Boston Market locations throughout the state on Monday, Aug. 14 saying the rotisserie chicken franchise owes more than $600,000 in back wages to 314 employees. The investigation began after the NJDOL received a complaint from an employee at a restaurant in Hamilton last November.
