Four people were arrested after Paramus police said they stole about $1,200 worth of merchandise from multiple stores at Westfield Garden State Plaza.
Henry Olarte, 30, and Lorena Rojas-Bernal, 33, both of College Point, New York; Sharon V. Rodriguez, 27, of Elizabeth; and Angie T. Rodriguez, 38, of Los Angeles, were arrested Wednesday, June 10, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said.
Members of the Paramus Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit apprehended the four suspects at about 1:15 p.m. during an organized retail theft operation at the mall, Guidetti said.

Two Newark men were arrested after a shoplifting incident at a ShopRite in Bergen County, authorities said.

Quick-thinking citizens helped a Glen Rock police officer capture a shoplifting suspect who ran from a CVS with more than $200 in stolen goods, authorities said.
The Rock Road store’s manager reported the theft at 9:57 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, according to Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann. Police in Wayne are asking for the public’s help tracking down two people wanted for shoplifting at a local Walgreens, with a third woman still unidentified, authorities said.
Tiffany Vasto, 34, of Lyndhurst, and John Howlett, 51, of Maplewood, have been charged in connection to a theft at the Walgreens on Valley Road that happened on March 9, according to Detective Capt. Dan Daly of the Wayne Police Department.

Hoboken Lululemon Loses $39K In Merch To Thieves, Police Say
Multiple shoplifters are at large after stealing items from a Lululemon in Hoboken on eight different incidents this year, authorities said.
The shopliftings occurred between Friday, Aug. 30 and Tuesday, Nov. 26, Hoboken police said. Each time, the shoplifters entered the store at 313 Washington St., took multiple items, and left without paying, police said.
The thieves made off with more than $39,000 in merchandise, police said.
