Michael Sapuppo, 38, “used the Internet to view, download and possess items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children,” Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said following the March 21 arrest. A 65-year-old passenger was killed and a driver seriously injured in an early morning crash on Route 80 on Tuesday, Nov. 21, state police confirmed. A Hyundai passenger vehicle and Ford van were heading westbound when the Hyundai attempted a lane change and struck the Ford near milepost 34.4 in Rockaway Township around 6:50 a.m., NJSP Trooper Troy McNair told Daily Voice. Motorcyclist, 36, Seriously Injured In Route 80 Crash
A 36-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Route 80. The Hopatcong man was heading west when he struck the back of a Honda SUV on his Harley Davidson near milepost 50.2 in Fairfield, around 9:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. The motorcycle overturned, throwing the driver from the bike. He was taken to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported. Saddle Brook firefighters quickly doused a kitchen blaze on Monday, limiting the damage. The two-alarm fire broke out in the rear of the Congress Street home off Rochelle Parkway near westbound Route 80 shortly before 8 a.m. July 31. Firefighters forced their way in and got water on the flames while searching and ventilating the home. The fire was knocked down and under control in minutes. A 12-year-old child was seriously hurt in a crash on Route 80 overnight in Morris County, authorities said. The child was in a Honda that was parked on the right shoulder of the westbound side of the highway at milepost 38.2 in Denville, when a Kia passenger car struck the back of the car around 1:15 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt.
