Gianna Signorile's legacy will live on forever. The lifelong Nutley resident died in December 2021 after battling a rare form of liver cancer. In her obituary from the Biondi Funeral Home, she was remembered as a hero who shined bright in every room she entered. The Fair Lawn community is mourning the loss of a 15-year-old boy who died this week after his second bout with cancer. Peter Tyszko, a sophomore at the borough's public high school, died on Jan. 17, 2022. Dominique Franco of Park Ridge was on a mission to save the world. The senior University of Rhode Island nursing major was on track to a career in pediatric oncology.
