Winter Weather Advisory: Here's When 'Multi-Hazard' Major System Will Arrive, Wrap Up A major storm the National Weather Service is calling a "multi-hazard" is closing in on this region and the entire Northeast. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Saturday at 4 p.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday for North Jersey and surrounding areas. Mixed precipitation is expected (see second image above) with a total accumulation of 2 to 4 inches of snowfall for most of the area.
