Lidl -- which closed a deal on Bergenfield's former ACME market earlier this week -- had plans to open nearly 100 stores between Summer 2017 and Summer 2018. Hackensack Architects Authorized For $12M Bergenfield Borough Hall Overhaul A $12 million renovation to Bergenfield's 93-year-old Borough Hall is set to begin in September, according to a new report by NorthJersey.com. Hackensack's RSC Architects has been authorized by the council to come up with a basic design for the North Washington Ave. facility this week detailing a complete renovation, the report says.
