Fire Rips Through Lyndhurst Home, Sends One Firefighter To Hospital: Officials
A fire ripped through a Lyndhurst home on Saturday, May 31, forcing residents to flee and sending one firefighter to the hospital with a minor injury, authorities said.
The fire broke out around 1:40 p.m. on the lower 100 block of Copeland Avenue, the Lyndhurst Police Department said.
Flames shot through second floor windows of the home, where all occupants had already evacuated, fire officials said.
Firefighters from North Arlington, Rutherford, East Rutherford, and Secaucus assisted in knocking down the body of the fire and with mutual aid.

A fire broke out inside a commercial garage in Tappan Friday evening, April 18, drawing a large mutual aid response from surrounding fire departments, officials said.
The blaze was reported shortly after 5 p.m., bringing firefighters from Tappan and Piermont to the scene, the Tappan FD said. When crews arrived, they found fire inside a commercial garage, the department said.

A woman and man were hospitalized with severe burns after escaping a fire that broke out in their Cliffside Park home on Monday night, Dec. 16, ABC7 reports.
The fire broke out around 6:21 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, inside a home on Lawton Avenue, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Police, firefighters, and mutual aid crews from surrounding areas rushed to the scene.
