UPDATE: The missing subject has been located. Authorities in Essex County have launched a search for a 44-year-old woman missing since the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 23, they said. Michelle Romano is believed to need medical attention and was last seen around 7:30 a.m. in Nutley, Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo said. She has dark hair and brown eyes, and is driving a blue 2016 Subaru NJ License Plate T38-L J W. She may be in Union. Romano is described as 5’ 8" and between 120 and 140 pounds. Psych Hospital Resident Wanders Off From Facility, Search Launched In South Jersey
Police in Trenton were on the lookout for a man who walked away from a psychiatric facility Sunday night and has been missing ever since. NJ Human Services were notified around 10:05 p.m. that Brian Thorne, 48, wandered off from Trenton Psychiatric Hospital around 8:30 p.m. He was at TPH on a non-criminal hold. A recent stroke victim with limited ability to speak has been missing since he was released from prison and was expected to arrive in Washington DC, according to his attorney. Kevin Flythe, 52, was released from the FCI Gilmer prison in Glennville, WV on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, according to his family's attorney, Claire Madill. Still No Sign Of Warren County 23-Year-Old Man Missing Since October
A 23-year-old Warren County man has now been missing since mid-October, according to police who say they have found no new leads. Daniel Cannone, of Blairstown, was last seen on a RING camera on Oct. 16, DailyVoice.com reported. Cannone was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and was carrying a backpack, police said. Body Of NJ Man Found In New Orleans 2 Months After Disappearance: Report
The body of a 33-year-old New Jersey man was found in New Orleans more than two months after his disappearance, The Lakewood Scoop reports. Michael Gelfand, of Jackson, was found dead in NoLa on Monday, March 21, the outlet said citing sources. His body is being flown back to New Jersey for burial. A longtime EU delegate last week disappeared from a walking path just outside of Washington, according to Reuters and her LinkedIn page.
